AMEX Super Shot Fund recipients announced

Seven grassroots organisations across the region are set to receive support through the AMEX Super Shot Fund, helping them continue to grow opportunities to play and develop netball in their communities.

Grassroots netball is where the game grows.

It is where new players discover the sport, where confidence develops, where coaches give their time and where a lifelong love of netball can begin.

That is why Birmingham Panthers is delighted to announce the seven successful recipients of the AMEX Super Shot Fund:

  • Challengers Netball Club

  • Stockland Belles Netball Club

  • LMR Rugby Juniors

  • Leamington Netball Club

  • Little Sutton Netball Club

  • Blue Coat Primary School

  • Scarletts Netball Club

The fund has been created to support organisations at the grassroots of the game, helping them invest in the people, equipment and opportunities that enable netball to thrive.

For Panthers, supporting grassroots netball is fundamental to our ambition to grow the game across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. Our community is not an add-on to what we do. It is how we grow the sport, create opportunities and develop the next generation of players and fans.

The seven successful recipients represent the breadth of organisations helping to make that happen, from established netball clubs to schools and junior programmes.

Their work helps create more opportunities for people to get involved in the sport, develop their skills and find a place within the netball community.

The AMEX Super Shot Fund is another step towards building a stronger grassroots network across the region, alongside Panthers' existing work with schools, clubs and community organisations. Panthers currently works across multiple grassroots and school programmes, with more than 2,400 participants engaged through community, school and grassroots activity between September 2025 and February 2026.

Congratulations to all seven successful recipients.

We are proud to support the organisations helping to build the future of netball, and we cannot wait to see the impact of the fund in their communities.

Grassroots netball deserves to be backed. And together, we can help it grow.
