Sasha Glasgow has been selected for the Vitality Roses squad, while Izzy Kaye earns a place in the England A squad as two Birmingham Panthers prepare for international opportunities against Jamaica this autumn.
Birmingham Panthers will be represented across two England squads this autumn, with Sasha Glasgow selected for the Vitality Roses and Izzy Kaye named in the England A squad.
The selections mark an exciting opportunity for both athletes as they continue to represent Panthers on the international stage.
Sasha Glasgow selected for the Vitality Roses
Sasha Glasgow has been named in the 13-player Vitality Roses squad selected by Head Coach Anna Stembridge for the Vitality Netball Horizon Series against Jamaica.
The series begins at London's Copper Box Arena on 21 and 22 November, before England travel to Kingston for the away leg on 5 and 6 December.
England, currently ranked third in the world, will face the fourth-ranked Jamaican Sunshine Girls in a series that brings together two of international netball's leading nations.
For Sasha, the selection provides another opportunity to represent England against top-level opposition, as the Vitality Roses continue their preparations for the Netball World Cup in Sydney in 2027.
Izzy Kaye selected for England A
Izzy Kaye has been selected for the England A squad, which will face Jamaica in a behind-closed-doors fixture this autumn.
The nine-player squad brings together athletes from the Vitality Roses and Roses A programmes, providing valuable match experience against one of the world's leading netball nations.
Playing at centre and wing defence, Izzy's selection offers an important opportunity to continue developing her game in an international environment.
Two Panthers. Two opportunities. One club behind them.
These selections reflect the talent within Birmingham Panthers and the opportunities our athletes are earning to test themselves at the highest levels of the game.
As Panthers continues to build, developing players and creating opportunities for them to progress remain an important part of the journey.
Congratulations to Sasha and Izzy. Birmingham is behind you.
